Welcome Shelley, Our New SEO Assistant!

Today, we’re thrilled to introduce Shelley, our newest team member here at Fly High Media. Shelley brings a fresh perspective and infectious enthusiasm to our team. Let’s get to know her better through her words.

What does your role consist of?

Shelley: “My role at Fly High Media is as an SEO Assistant working in the SEO team to help our clients generate the success they want and need; this includes performing tasks such as keyword research and content briefs.”

What are you most looking forward to in this role?

Shelley: “I look forward to helping and watching our clients’ businesses grow and succeed, with this feeling of ‘I have done my job’ satisfaction.

“I am also looking forward to learning marketing strategies, developing the skills needed and seeing where it takes me in the future.”

What made you want to go into SEO?

Shelley: “It has always been a dream of mine to have a life-long career in marketing, and through Fly High Media, I can learn the skills to make that happen.

“I am passionate about helping businesses succeed by making them more visible on search engines.

“Moving into a career in SEO presents the opportunity for me to learn how to do this, and it is a rewarding feeling when the good results show.”

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Shelley: “In my spare time, I am a full-time dog mum to a Frenchie, who I take on walks, hikes and adventures alongside with my partner.

“We have recently bought our first home, and are in the process of doing some DIY bits to make it our own.

“I also really enjoy spending time with my and my partner’s families, going on our annual camping trip, cooking meals for everyone and hosting get-togethers (especially when the football is on!).”

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Shelley: “Bali is the place I would like to go if I had the chance to go anywhere in the world. I would love to experience their culture and explore their beautiful coral reefs.

“Swimming alongside the magnificent sea creations would definitely be an experience I would never forget!”

What is your greatest achievement?
Shelley: “I would have to say my greatest achievement is having the courage and drive to go back to college at the age of 25, to retake my Maths and English GCSE and get the grades I was unable to achieve as a teenager.

“In doing so, I have opened up doors that I would never have been able to open, including the opportunity to work here within Fly High Media.”
