Welcome Jess, Our New Client Services Executive!

Last week we welcomed Jess, our newest member of the team here at Fly High Media. She will be assisting our Client Success Manager with client relations.

We asked her some questions about her new role and interests outside of work:

What does your role consist of?

My role here is to act as a bridge between the internal team and the clients and make sure that everyone is happy and the client’s final goals are met. I’ll meet with the clients regularly to clearly identify their goals and convey this clearly to the internal team.

I’ll also regularly be reporting back to the clients with results from campaigns and with any possible areas for improvement, to provide the best service possible.

What are you most looking forward to in this role?

I feel that this new role is going to push me to improve all areas of my marketing skills. In my graduate role before this, I was part of a solo in-house marketing team so I didn’t have any managers or experts to directly learn from.

So at an agency like Fly High Media, I am most looking forward to learning as much as I can from experienced Digital Marketers, and applying my existing knowledge as best I can to help the clients achieve all of their goals.

What made you want to go into Digital Marketing?

After completing my A-Levels, I honestly didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do. After going to an open day for a degree in Public Relations and Marketing, this felt like a great fit for me personally and also with the A-Levels I had done.

Throughout my degree, the Digital Marketing modules were always the most enjoyable and interesting to me. I saw digital marketing as such a vital tool to curate a brand’s online image and help them to stand out from the crowd in unique and fun ways.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Honestly, it can completely vary depending on the mood. Of course, I love going out for food, a few drinks, and having fun with my friends. But on the other hand, I also love a chill night in! Comfy pjs, a good film, and a takeaway also sounds like a perfect way to spend a Saturday night.

A normal night to me is usually spent reading, or bingeing whatever series I’m obsessed with that week!

I also love seeing my family, we are all very close and I try to see them as often as I can. None of them live locally and a few live abroad, so it means that when we do get the time to see each other, it makes it extra special.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Choosing just one place is impossible! I would love to travel everywhere. I love experiencing and immersing myself in new cultures. But, if I had to choose right now I would love to travel around Asia and Australia. I would love to do a couple of days in each place and see as much as I can!

A lot of my friends travelled straight after graduating from University a few years ago, and watching their travels on Instagram has definitely given me a lot of inspiration for my bucket list for the future!
